Interesting sunglasses. The frame photo shows light shining through the frames. However, light does not shine through the frames when the sunglasses are worn. Then the frames appear camouflage in color. The sunglasses have very close fitting adjustable nose pieces. Important: Adjust the frames by moving the nose pieces rather than attempting to bend the frames. The sunglasses fit close to the head and wrap around. Great for outdoor sports, high wind areas, motorcycling, etc.. Wind does not enter through the nose pieces. Serengeti Polarized Photo-chromatic 555NM PHD lens. Light transmission varies between 20% lightened to 9% darkened according to Serengeti's web site, see: Lens Technology. The main reason I rated these four stars rather than five stars is Lucas Lighter via Amazon sent some Serengeti sunglasses with ultra-light glass lens on a subsequent order, although; a different model.
