I've used these glasses for many years. I ordered this set to replace identical glasses I broke (my fault). Didn't see the problem until I got in the car and put them on, on a sunny day. Like looking through a prism. Upon investigation it's like the polarization or something wasn't applied correctly during mfg. The streaks are not topical but inside the lenses.I've requested an exchange from Amazon and will send these back.3 stars because I've had about 5 other pairs of varying color variations without defect. First pair I've had any issue otherwise been awesome sunglasses.Another pair of sunglasses I will lose in the ocean. Guaranteed.I saw these glasses at Dicks sporting goods and they were more money and had a few hairline scratches on them . I remembered I had a gift card balance at Amazon and sure enough Amazon sold them. I purchased yesterday and here they are today with my prime membership. Excellent sunglasses and the polarized lenses are excellent quality. Just like my Oakleys except 3/25’s the price. I highly suggest you invest in such a great pair of sunglasses ?Great pricing, and construction. Lenses tinting could be darker.Excellent glasses. Second pair of these I’ve owned. I like the look. Lenses are excellent. Very lightweight and can push them up on my forehead when I don’t need them, and they stay up without falling, and I can forget they’re on my head. Just what I wanted.Best sunglasses in the world? No. But, if you're someone like me that loses sunglasses, or sits on them etc, they're great. Nice fit, lightweight, and when I inevitably break them, I'm not out 100+. Well worth the money.Edit: dropped from 5 to for stars as they were 30 dollars a month ago.They look & feel fine. The lens doesn’t seem to have the same quality as my old Sunclouds? They don’t feel they are very different than some I bought at Ross for $6-10. Maybe it’s the brown vs more green lens. I used to like the way it always made the sky/weather seem cloudy in our never ending AZ sun (I had the “cookie” style from REI).ADDITIONAL UPDATE 6/2019Well I lost my Sunclouds. I made the mistake of wearing them out without my Chums. I think I left them at a restaurant. I will say that the polarization protection on these glasses were top notch. I never had to squint when stepping out into the sun nor did I ever fear that I'd have to squint. They were that good. I was going to replace these with a new pair of Mayors but I opted to try a different brand. I went with a pair of Smiths (Bauhaus) to try out their Chromapop lens. The Chromapop lenses did not disappoint as they have increased clarity, sharp contrast, and make colors pop. The downside is that they don't seem to block the glare as well as the Suncloud Mayors. Don't get me wrong, the Chromapop lenses are polarized and do block glare but I do find myself less confident of having to squint compared to the Mayors. They were really that good at blocking glare. I think I may purchase another pair of Mayors but in the silver grey frame with transparent mirror lenses.In my May 2018 update I docked the Mayors 3 star and rated them at 2 stars. I think that was a bit unfair as the 2 stars should be directed at the seller at the time (Garage Gear) for sending out sunglasses that appeared to have a mild reader strength lenses. But given that strength of the polarization I will give the Suncloud Mayors back their 3 stars I deducted and say that these are definitely 5 star sunglasses.UPDATE 5/2018I still love these sunglasses. They are big enough to provide shade all around the eyes. What I don't like is the fact that they are ruining my vision. For whatever reason, the lenses definitely have some sort of prescription to them. I can't read street signs when I'm wearing these because the words on the signs are blurry. The strength of the prescription on these lenses isn't strong enough to blur everything, only words on street signs. I'm going to dock my original review 3 stars because I don't understand why the seller would send these out when I didn't order lenses with prescriptions. Bad Seller, just bad!ORIGINAL REVIEW BELOW*******Item arrived on time and packaging provided maximum protection. These sunglasses are lightweight, look great on my face, and shield the sun's glare very well. I have destroyed sunglasses in the past by accidentally sitting on them in the car (including Sunclouds). This time I purchased some chums to ensure I never have to put them down. These shades borrow from Wayfarer classic styling but look slightly more modern. The lens sizes are perfect to allow ample viewing. The shades come with a lens cloth that also doubles as a container bag for the sunglasses.I really liked the way these looked . I have a rather small head and face and finding sunglasses that compliment me has always proven difficult. After several months of very very satisfactory use , these unfortunately came to an untimely end.I went to fold them as I always do while setting them down and the right arm seems to have inexplicably buckled and torn away from the hinge . Maybe I folded them too fast? Not sure. I will. Have to buy a new pair. The polarization is really clean and clear for glasses of this price. I just hope the next pair lasts longer .These are my third pair of these glasses, I lost the other 2... But when I received these ones I thought they were scratched on the lense close to the nose but when I looked closely the lenses were actually cracked. They had 2-3 cracks on each side going straight out from behind frame and since using them the cracks have gotten longer. Not very impressed with that. However they are good sunglasses for the fit and style. I just wish they hadn't been cracked.Great sunglasses. I'll never have a complaint with these! I've owned five pairs over the past 8 or so years. The lenses make nature look so nice on a nice summer day. If you fish in a river, it will take the glare off of the top of the water (because of the polarization). Also, if you dabble in the "devils lettuce" then look no further, just buy these now. They will be the best "salad eating" glasses you'll ever own.Look great, high quality but untried since a Christmas present. Very disappointed that no case was includedconsidering the quality & price.Escogí estos lentes porque hace varios años compre un par en USA, durables y cómodos duraron varios años en buen estado. El marco de estos lentes está fabricado de un plástico de muy baja calidad, las bisagras son del mismo plástico y se quiebran sin mucho esfuerzo. Definitivamente no los recomiendo.
