These are my favorite sunglasses. I've worn them daily for over 2 years now. At first, like all new sunglasses, I kept them in their case and was very careful. After a year or so, I am still careful, but I don't keep it in a case and occasionally I stuff it into a bag. These glasses are very tough. The frame is perfect; flexible and springs back to its proper shape unless you really intend to change its shape. The glass lenses are very high quality. Scratch resistant, polarized, drivers brown gradient, anti-reflection coating on the inside. It's all very effective. The optics are so so clear and greatly increase contrast while reducing glare. They are not tinted very dark, which I like. I wear these even on overcast days.I've dropped these glasses many times. Somehow I haven't scratched the glass or broken it. I'll call that luck, but I think it has a lot to do with the quality of this product.I hate spending a lot on fashion when it isn't warranted. But these sunglasses tick off every technical feature and quality aspect, so I consider the price half fashion and have function. The fashion is great for me. I have olive skin and the brown lenses with velvet gold frame are very attractive on my face. The lenses are not overly big nor too small for my face. This is something only you can determine though. but I would definitely call these "standard" or "medium" size. Should work for most people unless you're into that oversized look. These would not suit that style.Maintenance- I have had 2 screws pop out in the last year. I bought a kit of screws on Amazon that had a compatible type. The screws that pop out have been the ones holding the lens in the frame. So I had a horrible moment where the lens suddenly popped out of the frame and hit the cement sidewalk. Still, no scratches or shattering. I just don't even know how. Luck? The arm hinge screws have never so much as loosened. No loose screws since I replaced them.- The nose pads sometimes get flattened if my sunglasses get smooshed, but I can bend back into place. the frame is a great mix of flexibility, strength, and shape memory. You CAN bend it to fit your face better, but it's not like cheap aviators from the drugstore that I find impossible to keep shape after I get it right.- When the lenses get smudgy or dirty I just wash them in the sink with dish soap and warm water. Then I dry with paper towels. I used to use special wipes and the included microfiber cloth but I found that dish soap and warm water did a better overall job of cleaning and restoring the glass and especially the anti-reflective coating on the inside. Call me unconventional, but I've been doing it for a long time and it works without any scratching or damage to coatings. When these glasses are clean, it's amazing how clear they are. It's something you really notice when looking through quality optics.- I wear these glasses with a strap when kayaking, kayak sailing, yacht sailing, either in fresh or saltwater. Unfortunately I did not clean my lenses soon enough after one trip out and the glass developed water spots. I'm wary about using anything but mild soap to clean them, but I was able to get the spots off with just a little residue left It has not effected image quality. So be sure to rinse and dry your glasses at the very least!Comfort- Very comfortable.- No pressure on temples.- The arms are springy and very gentle.- No casting seams scratching your ears- Hasn't left bad red marks on the bridge of my noseBalance- Most of the time I can lean over without my glasses falling off. The gently spring loaded arms help with that, but they are front heavy due to the glass, just not excessively so. I have had them drop off when leaning over for a long period of time though. Be careful, that's just the way it is for glass and this style I guess.
